x3 won't sync in Vista?

My Axim X3 won't sync in Vista and active sync won't install. What other syncing software is available?

Vista doesn't use activesync. try a search on WMDC instead

I know it does'nt use active sync.

I was thinking the sync center in Vista handled all of this but apparently it does not. So what does the sync center in vista do?

I installed Windows Mobile Device Center on a colleages computer just last week and it synced straight away with an X30. I think Sync center is a different thing.
