How can I set up activesync or outlook to keep from syncing all contacts in outlook? I only want to sync business contacts and leav all of my personal ones on my desktop.

Setup categories in your contacts. Then open activesync on the desktop, goto Options -> Sync Options -> Contacts -> Settings. At the bottom select the categories that you only want to sync to your PPC and uncheck all the categories you don't want.
