I just received and connected by new Ipaq 2215. Everything works great using ActiveSync. However, even though I set the schedule to Manual, and turned OFF the 2215 in the cradle, ActiveSync STILL activates and syncs approximately every 8 minutes. What am I missing?

I have had this happen to my iPAQ h5455 and my old Jornada 568. I believe it occurs when your battery is full and the AC adapter triggers something on, which automatically triggers ActiveSync to connect. It could be something different, but by the sounds of it, that is what you are experiencing. I have not figured out a solution for this problem.

If the Peak and off-peak times set to Manual?

Also there is a option to turn off using the mobile schedule to sync. Have you turned that off?
