Outlook Account?
Hello there! I'm using MS ActiveSync to sync with my applications as instructed.. On the first syncing it created an ActiveSync account on the Pocket PC. But on the device it does not give me any option to insert the server infos that the account created is linked to.
So I can't check emails on my pocket PC.. I would have to create another account on the PPC.. But when I'll sync the devices, where will these new emails show up too? Will it create another folder on my desktop? What I'm asking is, if I can't actually check for emails on the ActiveSync account that is created, what is the purpose of transferring those emails on the PPC? Just to carry them around? I thought that I could check emails while on the PPC using that same account and then transfer them back on the desktop when i synced.. Is there any way around it?

Welcome to iPaqHQ!
The purpose for syncing email to the PPC is so that users can carry email with them and view it offline. I get emails that contain certain information that I must use on the road so having it on my PPC is vital for me. The Activesync folder on the PPC in your inbox syncs with Outlook on your desktop. This profile is not used to check email directly from your PPC. To do that you would need to create a new profile on your PPC. This new profile allows you to check for email while you are away from the cradle (e.g. Wireless connection via wifi or cellphone). The new account profile that you setup does not sync with the Outlook desktop via Activesync.
