Having Just purchased an Ipaq 1945:
I have successfully created a partnership and synchonized my desktop PC (Windows XP Pro - External USB Hub - Ipaq 1945 with sync cable).
I tried to set up Activesync 3.7.1 on my Laptop PC

Compaq Evo N600c, Windows XP Professional with all windows updates), but upon connecting the Ipaq via USB cable (as per Activesync wizard instructions), the ActiveSync wizard minimized and just kept saying "connecting".
I have tried:
1> Uninstalling Activesync, rebooting and re-installing Activesync.
2> Performing a soft reset on my ipaq
3> Performing a hard reset (new ipaq, so I had minimal data)
4> Disabling Norton Antivirus (I can't uninstall as it's a company PC)
5> Connecting via IR (enabled on IPAQ ActiveSync & Laptop ActiveSync)
Any ideas would be very much appreciated - I am at my wits end!!!
