Inbox sync fails
When AS 3.7.1 attempts to sychronize my inbox it displays:
Updataing hierarchy then Attention Required is displayed next to Inbox. If I then click resolve items the following message is Items of one or more information types cannot be schronized. Disconnect and reconect your device. I have done this but it appears to make no difference. If anyone knows how I can fix this without a hard reset it would be appreciated. I am using PPC2003 and Outlook 2002 on the desktop. Thanks | ||||

This may be due to the file attachments in the email that cannot sync over to the PPC. I have had this problem happen before. I just went into options and disabled syncronization of email attachments. Afterwhich everything synced fine. Then I re-enabled it.

I've been through this hassle 4 times already since I've started syncing my inbox with Outlook 2003 less than a month ago. It's just about made me decide it's useless for email.
I've tried to determine which emails are causing it, but it never seems to be a specific email. Generally, I've had to create a new PST and import my email from the old PST. So far that has resolved it, but it is a bit of a hassle. I have an Ipaq 4155, latest activesync, windows 2000 desktop pc. If anyone has any ideas/options I'd love to hear about them. Oh well. I still love my ipaq ![]() | |||
