Error Converting File

Whilst synchronising my Inbox I get the following message:

Error Converting File
Cannot convert file 'att3AD'.
The file converter could not read the required data from disk.

Interestingly each time I go to Resolve Items... the file name changes (even though only 1 unresolved item is reported).

System Setup
Windows XP (SP1)
ActiveSync 3.7.1 (build 4034)
iPAQ 4150
USB cradle

Is this a known issue which I can resolve, any suggestions?
Thanks & regards,
Mojo

The 'att3AD' is a email file attachment that is trying to be sync'ed to the PPC but activesync cannot convert it. Since the attachment is part of an email that is trying to be sync'ed it will not come over resulting in the error you are getting. I have been able to get around this by disabling email file attachments in activesync. Then resync. Once everything is sync'ed then reenable email file attachments.

Sounds like a file attachment to one of the emails AS is trying to copy over.

Can you possibly identify the file on your pc's email?

EDIT: Whitelyt - beat me to it!

Thank you guys...

Disabling the email file attachments option, sync'ing, then enabling the email file attachment option, and finally re-sync'ing seems to have flushed this problem.

All e-mails have synchronised fine.

I'm still intrigued to know why this happened in the first place as I've synchronised all e-mails and their attachments without deleting anything....
Thanks & regards,
Mojo
