Mighty Sync
Hello all! I just bought Mighty Sync in hopes I could sync my avantgo content directly to my SD card. The interface looks really easy, but after trying to sync a couple of Word documents to the SD card, I have not been successful. Then I tried syncing from the desktop to my device - still no go. The FAQs are not really very helpful, and I haven't been able to locate a step-by-step guide on how to use Mighty Sync. Also - how do I locate my Avantgo file so that I can add it to the sync list? Anyone who is experienced with this program, come on down! Thanks!

There is a free way of syncing avantgo to the SD card without Mighty Sync. I am not sure if you just purchased Mighty Sync for that sole purpose or not so posting this before your purchase would have been helpful. There is a really easy registry hack to move the avantgo cache from the \Windows\Avantgo folder to a folder on your SD Card. Take a look at this thread where I point out how this can be done.

Thank you, Ted, I will give it a try. I'm not heartbroken about the $5.95 or whatever it was for Mighty Sync. I would like more information on how to use it. Any leads there would be appreciated.

I have been using this utility now for a few years and find it to be a great supplement to ActiveSync. There is a MightySync help file included where you installed the app on your desktop that explains every aspect of the displays used in the application. In addition there are a couple of FAQ sections on their site.

I haven't used AvantGo for a couple years now so I can't help with that specific question. I connect my devices real time using my T-Mobile data service so have no need of AvantGo.
