win xp pro on laptop will not create partnership with ipaq 3635, I have check verison,3.0 rom2.14.03,cradle and partnership work great with main pc (not xp). I have installed and removed all software sync 3.5,3.6,3.7.1, nothing works and some are different in connection faults. twice had 806, constant connecting never stops, the run down of all the com ports , starts at 3 then 6,7, usb and IR but no connection. IR will transfer files but won't sync. The USB cradle is good, and will sync with other computers. I know it has to be a problem with XP PRO I just can't figure it out. I had a request for a certain driver as well and had tell the XP PRO it's location on machine. this was in ref to USB ports used. I have tried all four available but ppc is seen and sync will flash , but nothing further.
I just don't have a clue as to my next step. Am I limited to sync with old windows 98 because of ipaq 3635???
