error 80004005

When I try to sync my PPC with my pc, I can sync favs and files but not callendar, inbox or tasks! It says that it cannot sync due to error 80004005! Also in outlook, the new button is disabled and I cannnot create a new anything! What does this mean and how do I solve it? (I have already reinstalled outlook!)

From Chris De Herrera's ActiveSync Troubleshooting Guide:
Quote:
If you get an error beginning with 80XXXXXX (where XXXXXX is any hexadecimal number) you have a corrupted record in Outlook. See ActiveSync - Identifying Unresolved Items to assist you with fixing this issue.

Did you read the page from the link I posted? The second half of that page is Fixing Unresolved Items. It explains the steps to follow.

hi.

I found the problem and it was that because I hadn't activated outlook, (as it said the PID number was already in use as i was reinstalling outlook (usuall cráp microsoft)) it went into reduced functionality mode, and wouldn't do anything! Everythings working now!
