i have an hx4700 and this is a problem that has plagued me with all my pocket pcs... I have a Treo 600 that i use as a phone and for all my mobile PIM stuff- i always have it on me. The PPC, i don't always have on me, but i use it for mostly gps navigation, wifi security audits and media playing... right now what i do is just sync email (no clue why cause it goes to my phone anyway) and contacts... The problem i have is that if i sync calendar, all my alerts turn on and if i'm not with the device at that moment, the alert just stays on the screen and kills the battery... or the device would turn on in my bag or something. it gets really annoying. but it's also annoying to have to go into the palm datebook to see what's going on (not a big fan of palm). so is there a way of synching the calendar without turning on the alerts and not turning them off in outlook.
