All Day events

Ok, have a strange problem on my boss's 5450. She had a PC crash, and we installed a new computer, tried to sync and only some appointments were syncing. Deleted partnership, hard reset her 5450, and resolved that.

Here is where the problem is. Her all day events do not show at all unless she is in day view. (Calendar view does not show the open box.) As I never used the built in calendar program, (PI works great!) I am kinda at a loss...

Any Ideas?

Does anyone besides my boss still use the native calendar app?

Sorry I don't use the native calendar app.

Not sure what you mean by "Calendar view does not show the open box" - what other views are you trying to see the appointment in?

Two possible suggestions:
- Is MSOffice on the new PC up to date service pack wise (I seem to remember one of them did something about all day appointments)
- are reminders set for the all day appointments?

Sorry I can't be of more help
Regards

Rob

I use the built-in calendar and it is the same way for me. I don't think the all day appointments are supposed to show up that way. It really doesn't bother me because I can see my all day appointments on the Today Screen either using the built-in Calendar Today Screen plugin or Calendar +.

I can see this as an issue though if you are looking at the Calendar View to setup an appointment and you choose a day that doesn't appear to have any appointments but there is an all day event there. The only way you would know if tapping on that day to double-check. This is a shortfall IMO of the built-in Calendar app. If you need stronger functionality then PI or Agenda Fusion would be the way to go.
