Hello,To all

Now before you start slaping me newbie here

now when
you install this A/S you do so to the desktop puter Yes/No
also on the cradle/charger there are to plugs one is a USB plug

& i'm sorry i don't know what the name of the other one
is but it looks like the plug you have on a Monitor so what
i would like to know is which plug do i use so i may Sync

anyone at all please

You want to plug your cradle into the USB port on your computer. That is all you need. When Activesync is installed all you have to do is place the PPC on the cradle. Activesync will recognize the PPC and ask if you want to create a partnership. Select yes to create a partnership. Then you device will start syncing.

Hopefully I understood your question.

Yes, you install it on the desktop. It's part of the OS on the PPC.

to my desktop puter or do i install to the
desktop of the ipaq sorry

Thanks to you both i now have Sync
but i can't seem to install my Virus scanner
when i copy & Paste i keep gething an
error something to do with not right type
of file i think it's because it's an exe file ????

help

What type of virus scanner are you trying to install? Is it software for the PC or the PPC?

to my desktop computer & i am trying to install it to
the PPC if this can be done

You will need to run the .exe file on the desktop computer. It will install it to your PPC. Make sure that your PPC is in the cradle while doing this.
