Inbox Changes not synchronized

I have recently installed WinXP SP2 and now my changes made to items in my inbox are not picked up. To be honest I'm not sure it this was working before the SP.

New e-mails that arrive are sync'd, when message changes from unread to read this change is sync'd, but if a message is deleted or moved to a different folder there is no synchronization.

If I try to manually sync no changes are picked up, the only way I can get changes picked up is to physically disconnect PDA or change the connection settings.

I'm lost... please help!

Welcome to the site!

That is a very weird problem. Actually that is the first time I have heard of something like that. By default any change to your Inbox is supposed to be sync'ed. Have you tried deleting your activesync partnership and reestablishing a new one? If that doesn't work then you could try uninstalling Activesync and reinstalling. Make sure you have the latest and greatest version of Activesync from Microsoft's website.

Thanks for the welcome.

I'm currently using ActiveSync version 3.7.1 (build 3244) on Windows XP SP2.

My company has also locked down my notebook so I don't have any rights to install or uninstall.

I did delete the partnership and re-create it but I still have the same issue.

I have Outlook 2003 as my e-mail client.

Would you suggest an un-install and re-install of the latest and greatest verion of ActiveSync?

Thanks again,
Jason

The latest version is AS 3.7.1 (build 4034). It may help.
