Active sync via cradle

I have an i-mate pocketPC running Outlook 2003. I have setup MS Small Business Server 2003 with Mobile Information Services and have managed to setup the Ipaq to sync locally with outlook in the cradle and also via GPRS with the exchange server. Unfortunately, the ipaq qill not sync with the server when it is connected via the cradle, only via gprs. It keeps give an error INTERNET_31.

Could someone please help as this is driving me mad.

Try changing your Connection settings to Work. You can use this link as a reference.

Thank you for the suggestion, the connection are set to "My Work network" in network management for Programs that automatically connect to a private network. I have tried this on various cradles and ipaq units on different PC connecting to the same server but with the same result. Could it be some setting on the sbs server?
