ActiveSync Why has it taken so long for this category?

internet through active sync?

I have a 1940. I have a cable internet sevice in my desk computer but have no bluetooth in it. I connect the ipaq to the computer, start activesync but I can't navigate in the ipaq. What should I do to connect to internet? is it possible just through the internet connected host computer and active sync?? how many ways to navigate? (I already went through tools, options, rules, through, internet in the pc active sync)

Go to the properties for your internet connection. Under the advanced tab is an option to allow other to connect through that connection. Select that box. It may tell you that you need to restart.

You should then be all set.

Thanks a lot. Couldn't find that box though. Spent several minutes in the advanced options tab window. There are 55 square option boxes in that window, from top to bottom, where aproximately is that box? Or is it a round option box?

When you are in the properties for your connection, and then click the advanced tab, it should be right there.

I have W XP. In the advanced options tab of internet properties under the "browse" list there is a box untitled "enable third party extensions" is that one? it is already selected by deafault.

I have an iPaq 4350 trying to surf the web with connected through the cradle.
My internet connection is through cable modem and when I get to the list of network adapters, I don't quite know which one to choose.
