Active Sync startup problems
Could anyone help me!
Hardware: HP iPAQ H6340 Software: Active sync 3.7.1 and 3.8 Problem: When I boot my PC the Active Sync Manager icon in sys tray won't show In task manager I see wcescomm.exe and wcesmgr.exe running. When I put ppc in cradle the ppc starts active sync on ppc, and the PC gives me the right connection sound. But nothing happens. No icon in system tray on PC (not grey, yellow or green). Tried to start Active Sync on PC, but nothing happens. I disconnect the PPC and in Task manager I stop the 2 processes. After starting the active sync prog. manually the sys tray icon appear. When reconnecting the PPC in cradle everything works fine. But after next reboot same old story. (have to stop processes and restart active sync) I tried to reinstall active sync many times (even different version), but same problem. Any clues??

Because as I wrote earlier: When I boot my PC the Active Sync Manager icon in sys tray won't show In task manager I see wcescomm.exe and wcesmgr.exe running. The problem is that I have to restart the program (shut down processes and restart them).

Stoped processes, uninstall active sync, reboot off PC, verified no files in Active sync folder, installed Active sync (attached cradle after installation) running a sync with no problem, reboot system (no PPC in cradle), putting PPC in cradle and hrmmmmph doesn't start Is there some registry settings that should be removed after uninstall?
