Inbox fails to resolve conflicts
Hi,
Yesterday i made the mistake of falling out of the range of my WAP whilst activesync was in the middle of a sync (damned lifts/elevators). Sadly, when I went to re-sync this morning, I had a conflict in my Inbox. Clicking the 'resolve conflicts' link does nothing, it just says, '1 unresolved item', no matter how many times I click the link. To make matters worse, there aren't any emails in the inbox that is being sync'd in the first place... ![]() I've had a similar problem before with 'Files', but removing all directories on the device and re-syncing has resolved that one... Unfortunately, i don't think i can perform anything similar for the Inbox... Or can I? ![]() Thanks, Shane

Perhaps something in the trash folder on your PPC's email is causing this.
Has it been deleted or i mean is it empty? Long shot, thought i'd throw it at ya till someone with a clue comes along. Peace WR

My suggestion would be:
If your PC has on it all the data that you need to be sychronised (i.e. emails, contacts etc) then I would uninstall Activsync, then re-install it. If you still get the problem then hopefully by then someone else will have come up with another suggestion...

Nope, wasn't the trash/deleted items
That only left the re-install (which i dread because it inevitably means a reboot and that means closing down my development environment...)Luckily, everything i needed to sync was on my desktop, so I went for the re-install. I tried to just install over-the-top of activesync first, but sadly, that didn't work. It seems to remember everything (even though i said blow it all away, damned registry ).So, uninstalled and re-installed (which meant a reboot) and set everything up again. Thankfully, the re-sync went ok and everything sync up correctly again. Thanks for the suggestion...
