Syncing after Battery Failure
Ok, this is something I've always had a problem with but never managed to get around. If I sync up my iPAQ and perform a back up, then the battery on it fails, when I reconnect it it asks me to set up a new partnership. Thing is, I don't want to set up a new partnership, it's the same machine and I want it to use the old one so I can do a restore but I've never mangaged to find out how. Very frustrating :S Any help would be much appreciated

To recreate the same partnership.
Before you put your iPaq in the cradle open AS on your PC and go to File>Delete Partnership You can then delete the exisiting name. This will let you use the same name next time. However a lot of people find it better to connect as a guest, restore from the back up, perform a soft reset and then next time you put your iPaq back in its cradle all should be okay. I hope these help. (Also try not to let the battery run down ) | |||||
