I have a large expansion card and the internal memory of these devices is often a problem for me. Does anyone know if 4.0 will sync directly to an expansion card?

I haven't read anything in any of the press or pre-release reviews regarding the card-sync feature. I think it would be safe to say that it wont be in there.

At Chris De Herrera's Windows CE Website using, http://www.cewindows.net/faqs/active...ivesync4.0.htm you can read the most informative article on ActiveSync 4.0 that I've seen to date. I'd be interested in hearing whether or not anyome here has tried it on their system yet to replace 3.8. I get the impression that it will, but if you're hooked on WIFI active sync I wouldn't make the change though. Chris even has the pointer to the MS page on WM5.0 and the download for the program.

AHEMm..., I believe, if you'll follow the message trail, I've never said that ANYTHING gave me the impression of ANYTHING. I merely pointed out that there was an informative article about ActiveSync4.0 on the WWW and gave a pointer. I did repeat what was pretty much common knowledge regards AS4.0, that being that Syncing over the WIFI will reportedly NOT be supported in 4.0.
