"DB Open Error" when Sync'ing

Hi All

I have recently managed to synchronise my 4700 with a 2nd PC via IR but now after a few seconds of establishing a sync connection on either my main Laptop or the other 2nd PC I get a small window pop up on the 4700 that says "DB Open Error".

I can click on the OK button top right of this window and all continues fine, but if I don't click on this the sync eventually fails.

Can anyone shed some light on what is happening here and how I fix it please. Thanks.

Hey All... does anyone know how I rid of this error. I now have a screencapture app and took the following screenshot that illustrates what actually happens during the activesync process... can anyone help please.

Hi mate (left the Neport thread alone?)

Have you used any "cleaning' software such as SKTools or MemMaid?

It sounds as though you may have corrupted a database somehow?
Regards

Rob

Looking at your screenshot, it appears that you have 2 Activesync sessions open (there's 2 symbols at the top of the screen) - just a thought (& I may be WAY off track here, but what the heck) have you looked to see if you have AS open as a running program? If so, have you tried closing it & then tried to sync with the 2nd PC?

I dunno, but "DB Open" sounds like something is open that AS doesn't expect to be, which may be explained if you have 2 sessions of AS on the go.
