Good Morning All,

I am new to this forum obviously. Here is my dilema. I have new employee that took over for another user. She has a IPAQ 3715. The issue is this. When I start active Sync and configure it to grab from outlook it wont let me change the settings on the sync options. It point only to Wince stuff. I have done a hard reset uninstalled Active Sync w/ issues I was unable to delete some reg keys still havent found out why on that. I have tried it logged in as the user and as admin same result on both. I have used both active sync 3.7 and 3.8 3.8 is what is currently installed. I have 4 others same kind no issues.

Can you walk through each step of what happens when you connect to your PC.

Have you tired deleting all the Connections on your PC and then reconnecting?

Sure,

I have deleted the partnerships. It goes through the partnership setup when it gets to the screen of where to pull stuff from it has all WINce stuff the settings button is greyed out so I cant change it to point to MS outlook like all the others that I have on other PC's. I am starting to think that there is something wrong with the local profile for that user. I am going to delete her profile and rebuild it and see what happens.

I am not sure what you mean by WINce stuff. Are you referring to Calendar, Contacts, Inbox, Tasks and Notes settings in Activesync?

Yes that is correct.

During the unistall/reinstall procedure I am getting a bunch of reg stuff that cannot be deleted. I have included this as well.

Hmmm.... I have not seen that before. During uninstall are you doing it as an administrator?

I sure am I tried it both ways Admin first then the user.
