Items won't resolve

Got a quick one (hopefully) that I can't figure out. I just had to reimage my laptop as well as get a replacement 6315 in all at the same time. I was able to back up all my PPC My documents but while resyncing there are 2 times that won't sync or resolve. I don't know how to figure out which they are. If I did I would either delete them or see what's wrong with them. Is there anyway to figure out which documents aren't synching?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The first step I would do, since you have a full backup of your data, is to delete everything from your \My Documents folder (I don't think it will let you delete the Templates folder). Then sync it up, and let the PC write all the data back to the \My Documents folder. Or possibly, if you have a LOT of data, is to delete one folder or file at a time from the PPC, and resync the PPC.

Another thought, did you use any encryption on your old iPaq, that might have encrypted some of the files in your backup?

Don't let ActiveSync automatically resolve the items.
Choose th MANUALLY resolve them, and it will show you what items are having conflicts.

I have mine set to manual (actually leave item unresolved). I find sometimes it tells me what the problem is and sometimes it just tells me the number of problems, with no clue what to do about them.

You should at least know if your two items are contacts, appts, etc. Create a backup folder in Outlook and move all of this type of item to the backup folder. The items should be removed from your PDA and the syncing error should go away. Then move them back. Sometimes this has fixed it for me. If you still get an error, delete them again and move them back slowly so you can pinpoint which items are causing you grief.

I am Having a similar problem to Ramlib in that I get 2 files that will never sync. Just an annoyance really since the circle at the bottom shows yellow and AS pops up every time it tries to sync with the desktop. I however did not do any reloading, it just started happening last week.
Some of the solutions above will not work since AS is not telling me there are unresloved items which allows you to click and see which ones, it is just telllig me there are two files that will not sync but not which ones or why. I there any log or other file that tracks the progress of the synch that we can look at like Hotsynch on the Palm?
