After Reset how - can't get back to same relationship
I have 5 iPAQ's on one computer. One of them got reset. Now when I try to redo the relationship to restore it keeps telling me I need to setup a realationship. If I name it the same it tell me I can't use that name it allready exist's. I tried to make a new relationship but I can't get the contact to get over to the new account

You should be able to sign in as a "guest" in activesync and then then when you sync it will re-establish the partnership.

You have to delete the existing partnership first.

Blueradish's suggestion is better than deleting the existing partnership if you are doing an ActiveSync restore. Establish a guest partnership and restore the appropriate backup and once it finishes, it will let you use the existing partnership and device name.

Same problem here. I just did a hard reset on my H5450 and I have reinstalled much of my software but I can not get the Contacts, Calendar and Tasks to synch. How do I get this setup reconfigured?
There is only one Ipaq on this computer. Thanks Jordan Quote:

I no longer have ActiveSync 3.7.1 but I don't think this has changed. Open ActiveSync on the PC (you shouldn't have the iPaq connected). Select File, Delete partnership. It will delete the partnership that was last connected (you can select a different one by selecting File, Mobile device before the delete).

I am able to get synched, but I am unable to get the Calender Contacts and Notes synched. When I am setting up the synch functions It does not have a check next to it to activate these option for synching under the "Mobile Device" column. Under the "Desktop Computer" column it shows not installed for these databases.
Whats wrong, how do I fix this? Thanks Jordan Quote:

Ive tried both ways and it still has no check boxes next to it when I try to choose these items to synch.

And you do have Outlook (not just Outlook Express)? The only time I've seen these without check boxes is when the PC did not have Outlook installed or no Outlook profile (meaning it is installed but had never been opened).
