ActiveSync Question

Sorry I sound like a big idiot, but this is my first iPaq product, and I had a question about this "ActiveSync" dealio.

EVERY TIME my iPaq is connected via USB to my notebook, performing its "Slow Charge", I'll have it off... Every 10 minutes or so, the thing will perform its ActiveSync automatically. I dont want this, because... well, I just dont.

Any help on why its happening, and ways for me to stop, or at least increase the time between Active Sync's?

Thanks SO much in advanced!

Joe

Hi joey
Your question was a sensible one compered to the ones i ask!!
to answer your question --From START menu just click on your PROGRAMS menu then click ACTIVESYNC at bottom of your page you will see TOOLS click on this and OPTIONS will pop up, Then click on SCHEDULE this box will open a " when connected to pc sync every" then click on arrow at end of this box ( if its dull, make sure little box next to instructions has a tick in it)
the box will drop down with various time scales ie-mine goes from 5mins up to 4 hours, then just highlight your selected time and click on OK at top right of screen. Hopefully that should solve your problems..C YA..From BOB...
