After searching through the archives I haven't seen anything quite like this. I am trying to get an iPAQ hx2750 to sync with a work laptop running XP Pro SP2, and Outlook 2000. I installed AS 3.7.1 as well. The default Windows Firewall is off and is managed on an external machine to the office LAN. I have tried numerous times uninstalling and re-installing so i don't think that has overly helped.

The Calendar and Contacts will sync fine... but the Inbox won't. Now we also use Samsung Contact (an issue I hope to resolve shortly) and am curious whether that would be causing issues. I had thought however, that AS worked with Outlook rather than the mail server. It has synched the heirarchy of the mailbox, but no mail messages are syncing. I am at a loss.

Any ideas???

Welcome to the forum.

I believe the process in setting up the partnership on AS is that you agreed to have the pocket pc to sync with 2 computers.

Then your inbox is not going to work, as the inbox can't be defined more than once via activesync. (In fact, you will find ActiveSync is the service name in your inbox.)

So if you hard reset the pocket pc, delete the current partnership and rebuild the partnership (of course, other softwares reloaded) with only sync to this computer option.

This could solve your problem.
