Mail Monogamy: Outlook Inbox Sync Problems

GRR! I want to sync my emails in my Inbox in Outlook but when I set the Inbox to sync an error appears during synch telling me that I can't sync Inbox when my device has a partnership with more than one computer. The error message recommended that in order to sync Inbox I should delete one of the partnerships and re-install Activesync.

Now my device does indeed have a partnership with two computers: my home computer and my work computer. And I don't want to delete either of them. But I still want to sync my mail. I am willing to concede syncing only one mailbox but at the moment I cannot sync any Inbox. Can I get around this problem without deleting either of the partnerships? If so, how?

Hi coolaboola. Open ActiveSync on the desktop with the Inbox partnership you no longer want to sync. Open the Options Tab, and uncheck the Inbox item. This will keep you partnership, but will discontinue the syncing of the inbox on that PC.

Hi SW! I don't have the Inbox box checked on either PC. I can't sync email from either PC at the moment and I don't know how to set up my Ipaq to sync with the email on either PC because when I select the Inbox checkbox on Activesync on either PC it returns an error on syncing saying that I cannot sync email because I have a partnership with another computer.
