Thank you for your help, But..... When I try and follow the instruction I notice I dont have the box they talk about in this bit...............You must enable network connections in ActiveSync on your PC. In the "File" menu of ActiveSync select "Connection Settings..." Then click on the check box next to "Allow network [Ethernet] and Remote Access Service [RAS] server connection with this desktop computer." Finally, click "OK".

Any ideas what i'm doing wrong..

got it sorted thanks. I just installed AS 3-8 rather than the version 4 I was using.
