Hi!
A couple of weeks ago ActiveSync failed to start on my laptop. I get this error message telling me that "WCESMgr.exe can't be initiated correctly (0xc0000142) Press OK to finish the program"
It happens every time I try to launch ActiveSync on my pc (running XP)

I've tried reinstalling ActiveSync, no difference.

From what I've understand it's a driver that can't be loaded (ntdll.dll)
and when I try to load it manually from command promt (regsvr32 ntdll.dll) I get the message that it cant be registred because of that the start address for DllRegisterServer can't be found. QUE?

Any ideas? Any suggestions?
Note; the errror occurs in my pc only (IPaq is working fine and can sync with other pc's) and Bluetooth connection between the Ipac/ Pc is also working fine.

What version of A/S are you installing? Is there a more 'up-to-date' version that you can try?
