ActiveSync Why has it taken so long for this category?

Still not WORKING! - ARGHH!

My husband calls AS "Active Stink!" I'm trying to be very patient with this program, but now after several reloads and resets my inbox and appointments give me the following message: SYNC STATUS IS ON THE DEVICE meaning that calendar, contacts and inbox won't sync but tasks, favorites and files do sync. What does that mean and PLEASE tell me if I have an incorrect setting of some type. I have the IPAQ 2410 with AS 3.7.1

Well, looking at my ActiveSync Server Settings (Start ActiveSync, click on Tools and then Options and then the Server tab) I see a box at the bottom of the screen that says Sync these items. In the box are Calendar, Contacts, and Inbox. These items are not checked and sync fine.

Are you making any changes at all in the [edit] handheld ActiveSync options?

Yes, that's the frustrating part. Just a few days ago I was able to sync those items just fine, but now I can't even find them in the sync options window. No changes were made that I'm aware ... We did install a new mother board but I can't imagine that would make any difference in this case.

Sync Status is on the Device - Problem Solved!

Go to tools in the active sync window and select options. Then switch to "Server" tab and configure. In the "Sync these items" window UNCHECK troublesome categories. It might take more than one time but keep at it.
