I have it with active sync....

Thank you for any responses since I'm officially ready to elimate active sync... heres my dilemna.

ipaq 2495. brand new desktop bought it This Christmas. has all the latest s/packs from the store. Also has Norton Firewall.

according to hp, you must run outlook 2002, active sync 4.0. I connected all the cables, installed my programs and all worked... until..... I tried to sync my contacts, calendar, emails USING Agenda Fusion ( all the updates too )
I contacted Developer One and did what they suggested which included a hard reset on my ipaq.

Since then.... my pda no longer syncs. = no email, contacts, calendar etc.

THIS is what I"ve done:
uninstalled agenda fusion
unistalled active sync
re-installed active sync
unistalled a/s and installed a/s 4.1
unistalled and tried re install again a/s 4.1.
Have tried syncing via bluetooth, no luck.....
I've used my a/c discs and all that; the soft resets, hard resets etc...
went to Microsofts website and checked firewall stuff to ensure I"m allowing transfer and protocols etc... still nothing ( see below )

This is what my ipaq does:
When I set it in the cradle: I do get the sounding bell of a/s starting... the chime for lack of a better word. I see in my taskbar the a/s "spinning".
All it does is spin,

There is no partnership. established since my following the directions from Developer One ( Agenda Fusion ). I have tried to re-establish the partnership and nothing. I don't know how to get the partnership back??

please help or advise me on a different syncing method. AS far as Agenda Fusion goes according to them they don't have a "cure for outlook/ and their program... yet well see later. Currently the contacts installed and calender will work.
AGAIN thank you

Have you tried syncing with the Firewall turned off (to see if it's a firewall related issue)?
