sync problem with Norton
Hello,
it is indeed Norton Security 2006. I tried to tweak it but nothing happens : I use Windows Xp. When I disable Norton, there's still no sync although I downloaded Activesync 4.1... This recognizes my Ipaq, but no sync... Thanks for your help! Hans

Hans, when to get to the point where your Ipaq is recognised but doesn't sync, right click on the bottom bar on your PC & open Task Manager, under the Processes tab stop any program that starts with WCES, then click on Start/All Programs/Microsoft Activsync to restart A/S; it might work
(it does for me most times)

Get rid of Norton. It's bloated, has always caused issues, and there are better choices. CHeck with your ISP. Several offer free security suites. I have Comcast and they offer McAfee which isn't a whole lot better.
Even the free version of ZoneAlarm works nicer than Norton. Combine that with AVG from GriSoft and you're golden!
