active sync and ram
i have a 1715 and when i connect it to my computer active sync use like 2 megs of memory and i dont know why the only way to get it back is to reset
is active sync really that big of a mem hog | |||

You can close AS using iTask and/or by going to start/settings/system/memory then click on the Running Programs Tab and close Active Sync or any other programs that are running that you want to close.

Well, I'm not an expert, but you have applications (like Active Sync which might be closed as rightfully swhoutx035 says) and processes, which well... you don't really see it without some programs able to do this. To not exclude you might have a virus (even though I'm pretty sure is not the case) or a "lost process". You have more than 6 megs after soft reset?
