Hi all! Been having a big problem with using Active Sync 3.8 and my notes won't synchronize. The error that came up was "Synchronization cannot be started because you are not able to log on to the network and access information. Restart your desktop computer and synchronize again. If the problem persists, contact your network administrator. "
It drove me crazy and I searched all over and wasn't finding any answers. Finally at microsoft I found the solution:

My Outlook 2002 PST file was apparently damaged even though I ran the PST repair app and it said it was fixed. I had to backup my .pst start a new one in outlook, remove the old one, re-establish a new partnership with my ipaq and finally the notes and all would synch with no further issues. Now I've restored my .pst data so everything is back.
