Not sure why microsoft removed the third choice on activesync 4/4.1? I seem to remember on my activesync 3.x, that if there was a conflict, there would be 3 choices, desktop overwrites PPC, PPC overwrites Desktop or the third choice, something like "prompt for choice". I preferred the third choice so I could decide in each case which to do, or to not resolve the conflict and make sure I did not lose data.

Now it is only the first two choices, that seem to apply to all syncs you make.

Hi tachy. I haven't had any conflicts to resolve in a long time, but I just checked the options in AS 3.7.1 and the third setting in options/rules/conflict resolution is "leave the item unresolved". There may be a differenet option when you click on "resolve items" but I can't check that right now for you.

Yes, this option no longer is given. Activesync does one or the other on 4.1.
