Ok, so this might be like cursing in church but I use activesync with my Sony GPS nv-u70, and not a Pocket-PC (on the other hand I own an Ipaq...).

Problem:
While transferring a big map, something interrupted ActiveSync. When I tried to redo this, some space on my device was already taken up (390 MB in flash memory). According to Sony, one should find a big, incomplete file, but this is not to be found although I show all files etc.

Sony thinks this is an ActiveSync issue. I have no idea how to get MS support for this kind of trouble, so I really hope *someone* here can help me get a decent vacation with a working GPS ....

So my question - at last - is:
is there any way to see if there are files on a device that are corrupt etc, which are not seen on ActiveSync? Other suggestions?
I had ActiveSync 3.8, upgraded it to 4.1; no success.

Isn't there some way you can perform a reset of your GPS to reset it to factory conditions?
