Just a quick question:
Can Active Sync browse an SD card inserted on an IPAQ?
Like copy files from the PC to the card itself and vice versa? or do i need a card reader for this?

A/S will happily cope with this (& CF cards as well)

If you are going to be moving large files then a card reader may be a better option, as the transfer will be much faster than by using A/S. You can pick up a memory card reader quite cheaply on EBay. (As well as having a built-in card reader on my PC at home I have a portable one that plugs into a USB socket so that I can carry it with me at all times.)

As you asked, then probably is not that obvious.
AS is offering the conditions, but not exactly making the transfer as such.
In windows explorer you have the mobile device > My Windows Based Mobile Device > Storage Cards.
But this is not the fastest way to transfer large files.
You better use a photo camera w/ SD (if available) rather than AS.
A card reader is a more elegant solution
