I am using BT to sync my 700w. I set everything up according to the instructions and it works... but only once.

To claify: I can sync with BT successfully, and if i manually disconnect, I can syn again.

If the connection gets broken because I get out of range, then I get a "port not available" error when I try to sync again.

The only way to make the port available again is to either restart the syncing computer, or to manually uncheck the "allow connections to one of the following" box, then check it again. This is is really annoying.

Since activesync stays connected after syncing with BT, the connections are always lost due to going out of range. So I can only every sync once before i have to manually fix it.

Any ideas? It seems to me that the ActiveSync app on my computer is not releasing the "bluetooth" port when the connect is lost.

Yeah, this is great having AS forget which COM port it's supposed to be using every time you want to sync. It makes the whole idea of being able to sync without having to sit down at your PC really work! This, my friends, is what the freedom of wireless is all about...

As an added bonus? To make sure things go smoothly in this vein? MS has dropped support for wifi syncing. Now were really moving forward!
