Installation Error: can't find X: drive

When I first installed ActiveSync, I did so on a second hard drive on this computer. I have removed that hard drive, but whenever I install ActiveSync, I get the message that G: drive cannot be found and activesync installation fails.

Any way around this? Or, do you know what file the installation is using to determine that G: drive was the original installation drive?

I still have the G: drive, but I would prefer to install ActiveSync on the C: drive.

Thank you.

I am not sure what is causing the problem, did you try Disk Management?
Or, somewhere in the registry ActiveSync must have registered as G:

Maybe you need to formally uninstall ActiveSync from the other drive and then try to install it to the drive where you wish it to be.
