Sync contacts from one PDA to another.

I'm wondering the best way, or if it's even possible, to sync up the contacts (name & phone numbers, etc) in one PDA to another PDA.

Could anyone throw out some good ideas on how to do this?

I have a lot of phone numbers already entered on my old Dell Axim 5 and would like to not have to do all the transfer of data by hand, typing each entry out again on my new Dell Axim 5.

TIA

Sync the old PPC to a PC, then sync the new one.

Yeah, but I have a whoooooooole bunch of emails entered in my outlook express and a whooooooooooooooooooooooooole bunch of phone numbers and contacts entered in my pda.

I would really like not to have to mix them all together like that. May do it anyway. Guess it would still be easier to delete the emails out of my pda than it would be to type all those phone numbers in by hand again!!!

:-)

Plus, I think I'd have to go and delete all the phone numbers out of my outlook.

This may be my only option.

Thanks for your reply though. That may be just what I end up doing!

You don't have to include emails in the sync. In fact, if it's just the contacts you want, just sync them and nothing else.

You probably could also set up a new user on the PC and create the partnership under that name. I've never done this but, in theory, it should move the contacts from the PPC into the Outlook for the new user but not affect your regular Windows User account. Then sync the new PPC to that same user.
