How do I clear synch items from my Axim x30?

I had my Axim x30 synched with my work e-mail but now I don't, so I need to clear all the synch'd items from the x30 without them being removed in Outlook (on my desktop).

I have tried unchecking the check-boxes in "Sync Options" but that doesn't clear the items from the x30.

I don't want to do a hard reset as I have a number of applications installed on it which I would rather keep.

Is there a way of deleting the database files on the device, or something?

A third party utility such as SKTools has a feature that will clear all your PIM data. There's a demo available that you can try. Be sure to backup your device first, just in case.

I've downloaded and installed the SKTools but cannot find the bit that allows me to clear PIM data. Any ideas?

Also, it's Trial version which is limited to deleting 6 items at a time...

In SKTools, tap on View, then select PIM. There you will have the option to clear PIM data. I hope you don't have TOO many emails to delete if you can only delete 6 at a time...

However, you should check out some of the other functions of SKTools...you might consider making it a purchase (well worth the money IMHO)!
