I tried to install AS 4.5 but it said there was a .dll missing (it didn't say which one). I did a search and and found a thread hinting to XP service pack 2. Is that the most likley problem, I don't know if I used SP2. A web site was offered to download, unfortunatly I'm at the library and it wants to install it not download it. There was the option to have it mailed to me but I would like to have it working tonight.
Am I even on the right track?

service pack 1 and 2 are needed acording to MS web site.
but how can I download it to an SD so I can take it home

I still don't know if getting sp2 will solve my problem but I finally found where to down load it. google "xp sp2" it's the one with website(thats ntu.edu.sg) Nanyang Technological University.
to bad the library data rate is so low, it's a 266Mb file and the download time estimate was 7hrs.

Does anyone have just this dll needed for AS 4.5?

I down loaded and will try it at home tonight.

Hasn't anyone else had this problem with the missing dll. Theres not much info from google and none from this website search engine.

IT WORKS!!! It was the installer as posted before.
60 views and no post?! Why such a unique problem? Maybe because I don't have internet access and was never prompted by my computer to update drivers? oh well.
