Activesync sync wizard starts everytime

hardware:- PDA; Dell Axim X51v - Home PC; WinXP Home - Work PC; WinXP Pro.
ActiveSync 4.5 on both PC's.
Requirement is to:-
Sync Calendar & Contacts on Home PC
Sync Calendar only on Work PC.

Problem:-
Everytime I plug the X51V into the Home or Work USB connected cradles Activesync starts the sync wizard and needs me to delete one of the 2 connections before it will sync. I now nickname the connections Home & Work on both my Home and Work PC's.
This way of syncing worked fine when I used my old X5. I have removed & re-installed ActiveSync on both PC's more than once trying to cure this repeated running of the ActiveSync connection wizard. After completing the wizard on either PC AS sync's the required data with no problem. I'm missing something somewhere and cannot see what it is.
Any help much appreciated - Thanks

It's still doing this, each PC does not recognise itself as being an existing sync'ed PC so I have to delete the PC and go through the sync wizard EVERYTIME. Also noticed that it duplicates entries in the calendar, not everytime tho!, I had to get rid of all the duplicates yesterday and that took nearly an hour on my work PC.
Somebody must know the answer to this strange problem. HELP PLEASE.

Have either of you set up up a bluetooth pairing to any particular
PC host?
If you have you might try deleting those,I had setup set up one to
my PC and after that the wizard would pop up everytime I tried
using the cradle to sync, finally deleted the pairing and it stopped.

I don't have it synced to anything except my laptop. I haven't changed anything on my laptop to make it start sync wizard every time.

Well the only other thing I can think of off hand is the DEVIVE ID.
That's how the host pc knows or recognizes a handshake from
pda.
Start/Settings/System/About/Device ID could it be possible
this corrupt or failing to be recognized?
