Aximsiteactivesyncicon Axim X51/X51v icon replacement for Vista Mobile Device Center icon

For those so inclined, I've made an icon of the X51 or X51v to replace the boring generic icon used in Vista's Mobile Device Center (see attached thumbnail).

The process is pretty straightforward:
  1. Locate the ico file for the model you wish to have displayed.
  2. Rename the icon file to sync.ico
  3. Move the sync.ico to the Windows folder on your Axim
  4. If the device is already configured, go to the Device Manager in Vista and delete/uninstall your Axim. On my Vista Ultimate system, my Axim is listed under "Portable Devices-->PocketPC"
  5. Undock (if docked) and then redock. The system should copy the icon from the PPC to Vista and display it on the Mobile Device screen on your Vista desktop.
Radimus also referenced another howto site on the icon matter here (if you encounter some problems).
