File save problem
I cannot copy files from my pocketpc to my desktop pc. When I try to copy files it appears to copy in the normal manner but the files are never actually saved to the desktop. I thought maybe mcafee was the problem and uninstalled it but now I suspect maybe activesuk is the problem. Anyone have any idea why I am having this problem and how to solve it? I would like to add that when I try to do this at work I never have any problems.

Could it be your firewall? Have you tried deleting your AS partnership and then setting it up again?

I have not re-installed ac yet. I guess this couldn't hurt. I am wondering if it has something to do with my being able to sync with the company server. They forced a password on me and may have a hand in this problem as well. My coworker has the same pocket pc and Can copy without problems. He does ot sync with the corporate server though.

I went to the connections tab and have tried the choice of having the device emulate a card reader and this made it possible to copy files from the sd card that did not disappear from my desktop. Then I selected emulate flash disk and it let me copy files from flash memory. So I think this does mean activesync is probably the problem. I will try to re-install.
