Hope this is the right forum - couldn't find the answer but I'm sure it's been asked! I have a new laptop running Vista Home Premium and an X5 performance. Is there any equivalent to Active Sync which I can use to Sync the device (I think it's PPC2002 - it actually says "Pocket PC Version 4.20.1081 (Build 13100))

I thought I had read somewhere that it was now possible?

Vista uses Windows Mobile Device Center, which you can get from the M$ site.

Thanks for that. Still having problems as after set-up (download of WMD) I still can't sync. the PPC is visible via 'my computer' but WMD centre reports unable to sync and shows the green window with just 'Error' bottom left. When I try repair via the install / uninstall option in control panel, it wont work as I dont use MS Outlook as mail client. I use thunderbird instead.

Am I doing something obviously wrong? Do I need to reinstall or install something else? The laptop seemed to install MD and the Dell Axim USB driver.
