i thought i had seen a thread with a fix for when you are connected to your pc via activesync and you want to access the internet. I am connected and my internet is on, i even have the option checked off in the connections setting that advises this connects to the internet. yet i am still not able to access the internet from my axim. what do i do

Check your firewall. You may need to disable your computer's firewall before you'll be able to connect your pocket pc to the internet

I had this problem a while ago but then, quite suddenly and without my doing anything as far as I recall, it came back an now connects perfectly.

Check the "Allow USB Connections " box but NOT the "Allow connections to one of the following" box.

Edit : This refers to an X50v running WM 2003 SE and I use ActiveSync 4.2. I believe AS 4.5 can cause problems.

So my connections were working great and sync too, then I did a hard reset and it wouldn't work through my computer to connect to the internet.

Eventually I found in Activsync > connection settings > this computer connects to the internet.

Now all is well again :)
