I accidently deleted my device name at ppc/about/settings/device id.

Anyplace I can find that name as I have no idea. Also if I just put any name in there how does that affect active sync. Thanks for the comments.

On the pc just click the activesync icon in the task bar without the ppc connected. I think the name of the last device that was connected will be displayed (although ghosted). If you then enter this name on the ppc (start/settings/system/ device id) exactly the way it was you should be able to sync without setting up a new partnership.

I was just going to try that and I did a soft reset which put the device name back on the axim. Thanks for the input.
