Title says it all really!

I have just ported everything across to Vista Home Premium and amazingly my iPaq synced fine, 1st time. What is puzzling me though is that WMDC does not open automatically on connection. Sync Center works fine and all I have to do is manually open WMDC, so to speak, and all is well.

So my idiots question is:

Should WMDC open automatically or not?

I have trawled through 5 pages of WMDC threads but can't seem to find this in previous topics. I have tried multiple Googles but to no avail.

Any help would be gratefully received. Thanks.

If I understand your question correctly, anytime I want to access my device I have to click on the Task Manager Sync Center icon, then select my particular mobile device before the WMDC window appears.
