xls to ptx
I would like to put an excel document (XLS) from my desktop to my Axim X51v that has mobile excel.
I thought that activesync could convert XLS to pxt?

I have activesync 4.2
WM 5.0

Thanks!

just drag and drop in windows explorer from your host pc to your connected pda. when you transfer a file through an activesync connection, activesync will handle the conversion during this copy process

Your pocket pc will be able to open an xls file. The only advantage of the pocket version is that it is a smaller file.

But if you want to convert the file to the pocket version, check the settings in Activesync to make sure they are set to convert to this version whenever files are synced to your pocket pc.:

Open up ActiveSync on your computer
Select Tools > Advanced Tools > Edit File Conversion Settings
